PRETORIA - Electricity supply has received a major boost with the return of Unit 4 at Medupi Power Station. After nearly four years offline, the unit is back in service eight months ahead of schedule.

This isn’t just any upgrade, it's a 20-year life extension which means more power, less downtime and hopefully less load shedding. Koeberg now pumps out nearly 2,000 megawatts of power.
