Lady Vols defeat Mississippi State to remain undefeated in SEC play
Janiah Barker recorded 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal for the Lady Vols, who led, 26-19, at the end of the first quarter. Mississippi State outrebounded Tennessee, 37-35, in the game.
The Lady Vols jumped out to a 26–19 lead after the first quarter, with freshman guard Mia Pauldo leading all scorers with 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting. By halftime, Tennessee held a ten-point advantage, and Pauldo, Janiah Barker, and Talaysia Cooper were all in double figures.
