ESPN's Jeff Passan recently noted the the Yankees are "not budging" on what they are willing to offer Bellinger in free agency, and evidently, other teams aren't beating down Bellinger's door to sign him to a lucrative long-term contract, either.
Since taking over in San Francisco, Buster Posey has signed Willy Adames and Matt Chapman to lucrative deals. He also pulled off a massive trade for Rafael Devers. He has shown he is willing to spend if it means helping bring a championship to the Giants. They have a hole at second base, and Chisholm could fill it nicely.
The New York Yankees could benefit after a star free agent admitted that he has not received many concrete offers from MLB teams.
